"HOUSE" ANNOUNCES CASTING NEWS Released by FOX
Olivia Wilde, Kal Penn, Peter Jacobson, Anne Dudek and Edi Gathegi To Make "HOUSE" Calls During Season Four
Five actors have been cast in Season Four of the Emmy Award-winning series HOUSE, which premieres Tuesday, Sept. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Olivia Wilde ("The Black Donnellys," "The O.C."), Kal Penn (24, "The Namesake," "Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle"), Peter Jacobson ("The Starter Wife," "Law & Order"), Anne Dudek ("Big Day") and Edi Gathegi ("Lincoln Heights," "Gone Baby Gone") play candidates for a fellowship opportunity with Dr. House. The actors have been cast for an undetermined number of episodes.
HOUSE stars Hugh Laurie as Dr. Gregory House, a brilliant diagnostician who thrives on the challenge of solving medical puzzles to save lives. In the Season Three finale, the set-in-his-ways House was confronted with a series of major changes to his team neurologist Dr. Eric Foreman (Omar Epps) left Princeton Plainsboro because he didn't want to turn into House; House randomly fired old-money intensivist Dr. Robert Chase (Jesse Spencer), claiming he learned everything he's going to learn during the past three years, or nothing at all; and immunologist Dr. Allison Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) resigned, knowing House will be completely unaffected by her decision. But any effects of this "house-cleaning" on House, or the changes it may bring to House professionally or personally, remain to be seen...

4 Move into House.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Olivia Wilde, Kal Penn, Peter Jacobson and Anne Dudek have landed recurring roles on Fox's hit medical drama "House."
The four are expected to play characters who will be brought in after the resignations of House's (Hugh Laurie) underlings Foreman (Omar Epps) and Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) and the firing of Chase (Jesse Spencer).
Wilde will play a young doctor called Thirteen who will work closely with House. She most recently was on NBC's "Black Donnellys" and has had roles on Fox's "The O.C." and "Skin" and in the films "Alpha Dog" and "Turistas."
Penn co-starred in the film "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle" and its upcoming sequel and had a role last season on Fox's "24."
Jacobson is on the big screen in "Transformers" and most recently appeared on television in USA Network's miniseries "The Starter Wife."
Dudek most recently appeared in ABC's "Big Day" and had a recurring role on Fox's "Bones."

FIVE New Docs Make House Call Yahgo-E!Online
Five new actors have signed on to star in the upcoming fourth season of the Fox hit, filling the show's quota of smart, pretty people in the wake of the apparent departure of the good doctor's interns.
Olivia Wilde (The O.C.), Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar), Peter Jacobson (The Starter Wife), Anne Dudek (Big Day) and Edi Gathegi (Lincoln Heights) will get a lesson in condescension when they join the medical drama this fall.
The network has kept mum about how long each of the would-be replacements will stick around the house that Hugh Laurie built; however, E! Online's TV blog, which first broke the casting news, reports that the fresh meat will stick around for just eight episodes.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Wilde will play a young doctor named Thirteen, which in itself is no doubt enough to rile House's feathers, and who is expected to work very closely with the diagnostician.
The remaining thesps are expected to play candidates for a fellowship with House, presumably vying for the chance to step into the shoes of Cameron, Chase or Foreman, each of whom wound up on the outs at the close of season three.
Foreman (Omar Epps) left the hospital in the season finale after giving his two weeks' notice, claiming he did not want to turn into House. Chase (Jesse Spencer) was randomly axed by his capricious mentor, while Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) announced she was leaving.
House, which has nabbed series star Laurie a gaggle of Best Actor nods over the past three years, kicks off its fourth season on Sept. 25
