(cioè mentre vedono l'epi fanno i commentini....)
(quella: "I'll be out of your hair tomorrow. ... What's left of it."di wilson a house!)
A quanto pare è stata veramente lei!
Particularly the theme of ducklings balking at House commands. Cameron refusing to search wife of PotW. Then Foreman arguing against Interferon treatment. You can see House is so frustrated he’s just yelling. Foreman caved BTW Cameron didn’t.
Also laughed at the choice of their new conference room - the lavatory. Cameron being called into the boys room and then the boys barging into the girls room.
Chase/House subtext - Chase almost clapping for the juggle act. House slapping Chase for grabbing at the pancakes.
House/Wilson odd couple arrangement was very funny. And Wilson’s not-so-good-looking cooking getting the best of House.
The maid’s intake of breath as House flips out while searching for his secret lost treasure chest. (Under the bed)
House’s clueless clinic patient who believes he can catch herpes from sitting on a public toilet.
H/C Shippy Moments:
The fight in Cuddy’s office. OMG! Cameron slinging her upset about House’s twisted mind. House throwing back that she has childish romantic notions about marriage. Cameron personalizing the discussion “Are you calling me childish?” House responds- “Oh! Grow Up!” Cuddy head ping pong between the two with growing realization that they are fighting about more than just the patient before interrupting - “ Shut Up!” *Snerk*
Cameron’s curiosity about the threesome. Asking the wife of PotW about the motivation behind the sex games. (You just KNOW we’re thinking House/Wilson/Cameron smut - where is Starhawk???)
House calls her with instructions on treatment and to block the wife of PotW from going to the bathroom. And House getting frustrated at Cameron when he finds out she let the wife go to the bathroom. There was eye sex there.
The look on Cameron’s face when House reveals that he lived in Egypt. Almost as if she was jealous that this woman had gotten that admission from him.
That last scene before montage - House is sitting in the chair with the white board of symptoms in front of him. The office is darkened and silent. He is contemplative. Cameron knows where to find him. Her soft voice interrupts from the direction of the doorway, with an update on the PotW status. As Cameron lists the health issues, House teases her that the PotW is getting more attractive (because he's dying). He responds to her without turning his head. Cameron gets his joke as lobs over her own - that House is pleased he's won the bet and proven that all marriages are miserable. Cameron then steps forward slowly. The camera focuses on her hip area. She pulls from her waistband a wad of neatly rolled twenties. House has now turned toward her. With a flip of her wrist she offers the money to House. He reaches out to take it. As their hands touch in the moment, they suspend. Softly Cameron backs away and turns to go.
Commenti 2:
-- My first thought when the POTW grabbed his wife and dragged her into the bedroom was that it was a roleplay thing. See what starhawk's fics do to me?
-- Although I bitched about the videos above, I have to admit, the juggling scene in House's office where Chase has the widest eyes ever, then starts to applaud is still hilarious to me.
-- In the men's bathroom? Quietest peeing I've ever heard.
-- What a nice change that Foreman didn't have to break into the POTW's apartment. He actually was let in by the wife and could have a conversation with her.
-- Love the look that House had on his face when Chase tried to take a pancake. It was so feral!
-- How is it that all three ducklings get paged at once? Every single time?
-- Lot of close-ups on House this week. Also a lot of angry!shouting!House. I always try to see if I can hear his English accent coming through when he shouts, since somebody mentioned once that they hear it when he raises his voice, but I haven't heard it yet.
-- The herpes patient: can someone explain to me how House solved that? I was confused.
-- The only freaking quote that I got was the herpes one that I did as my cut. I guess there could be more, but none that stood out. That's another black mark.
-- I did enjoy the House/Wilson scenes, even though the best one I had seen already. The little notes were very reminscent of Friends for me ("So... so what would you say, Pheebs? Stuff like, uh, keep your mitts off my grub?" "Say, Ross, when you picture Phoebe living on the street, is she surrounded by the entire cast of Annie?"), but they were very cute. Wilson has amazingly readable handwriting.
-- Definitely like that House erased the message about the apartment so that Wilson could continue living there.
-- That last scene between House and Cameron (first off, really liked her shirt. That color would look awesome on me) was nice. I knew there was gonna be a hand touching/lingering moment, and I had been expecting/hoping it would House who lingered, but I watched it twice and it really looked like it was Cameron lingering, so I dunno.
-- Right before Cameron went into the office, that was a great camera angle of House sitting there with the cane being held an arm's length away. Hope some good icon makers grab that shot and make it pretty.
